On public happiness

The noble principles, which the Great French Revolution proclaimed, were a moment of development of the will for humanism; they made this revolution great. However the victorious bourgeoisie never meant to realise them practically in their totality. It wanted to create and created only a pseudo-democracy in order to hide the tyranny of its monopolistic class will, which always rules taking care first and foremost of its own interests. Exploiting its workers and appropriating the natural resources, which belong to humanity, private owners wanted to become possessors and became possessors of political power as well. Consequently, public happiness and public freedom once again became and still are a privilege of the few.

The oligarchic ruling elite has never wanted and will never want to give the political proletariat the right to participate in the decision-making process concerning all public deeds and affairs. It has robbed the whole public property and created for itself the paradise of political freedom and public happiness, throwing the people away into the hell of political non-existence. Only due to its heroic struggles the People has gained some political freedoms; however, its free political space and its free participation in political life have never been as big as it has willed.

Implementing with great success the system of electoral dictatorship of Big Capital and ? having an absolute power over the mainstream media of mass disinformation ? bombing infinitely and untiringly the people with its ideology, the bourgeoisie has preserved for itself the right to political action and does not allow the citizens to the sphere of political rights and public happiness forcing them to take care of their private affairs only. This tyranny made it impossible and further makes it impossible for the People to enjoy public happiness.

The world bourgeois oligarchy will never give up voluntarily its virtually total freedom based on its unlimited power; history gives countless examples of the fact that the only way to put an end to tyranny is to overthrow it from power. That is the reason why the newest revolution has to be and will be anti-capitalist; it will be based on the power of the political will of the oppressed. The humanistically thinking People knows what to want and will want it ? abolition of its political slavery, abolition of the total power of the exploiting class and its oligarchic government, abolition of representative pseudo-democracy, which serves the Big Bourgeoisie predominantly to fool the People. The humanist Peoples of the future will want a rule of the principle of public property, they will want and realise their total political freedom when they and only they are the ethical sovereigns of power. And only when the Peoples implement this humanistic project, will they enter into possession of their sacred right to public happiness.

Public happiness, which results from the act of ownership of public property, is substantially greater than the private welfare of the citizens and their personal happiness; only when is Man in possession of public property, he takes part in public power and exercises all his duties as a citizen of a humanist state.

Public freedom and public happiness of the People are higher than the economic freedoms and private welfare of the individuals. Yet, they are forbidden by the oligarchic power of the bourgeoisie, which aims at limiting the sphere of political freedom and public happiness of the citizens and replacing it with the sphere of economic freedoms of a private property oriented society; each exploiting class totally deprives and completely excludes the sovereign political People from any significant participation in the rule of public property ? the absolute source of public happiness. Having cunningly and ruthlessly usurped the whole sphere of political freedom and public happiness, the politically and economically dominating class ?magnanimously? reduces the sphere of happiness of all other citizens only to taking care about their private welfare and acting in conformity with their desires for living in their little private worlds. And that is reason why the apologists of neo-liberalism want to make us understand freedom predominantly as free competition and freedom of actions in private life only and would give anything to make us believe them and ignore the desires of our wills for public happiness.

No pasaran!

No more!

We want to create a new social ethics, which overcomes, wins and triumphs over the will of the exploiting Bourgeoisie willing to destroy the political will of the citizen-politician to fight for the welfare of humanity and the human species, to censor, brainwash and manipulate the political community, to reduce the social status of Man and make him only a citizen-economist ? and in the spirit of the ancient Greek category of oikonomia to lead a busy life in the sphere of oikonomia only, i.e. in the sphere of family business; an apolitical citizen-economist, who is excluded from the sphere of public affairs and aims at his private happiness only. Taking care of one?s private good only in conformity with the greedy whims of private benefit is the true path to slavery, about which the guru of neoliberalism, the steel supporter of exploiting and expropriating capitalism, Friedrich Hayek, never wrote and could not have written because he would have betrayed the class which paid him to lead the People to its political slavery.

The Humanists declare that this system of private happiness ? a system, in which the citizens are forced to take care merely of the affairs concerning their private lives ? has outlived its time.

The time of humanism has come.

This is the good news of the XXI Century.

The capitalist class can only shake with fear when the People wakes up and comes out of the darkness of its compulsory political non existence and starts to implement and build the humanist state order dreamed for millennia. The People have to expropriate and will expropriate the expropriators of public property and make res publica what it has to be ? truly public property ? common to all members of the political community. The Big Bourgeoisie will be forced out of res publica, which each exploiting class ruthlessly robs for itself usurping the political and economic capital of the sovereign People and mercilessly uses to defend its ?sacred? private property.

As a political ?I? ? the highest determination of Man ? I can achieve my public happiness only if I have public freedom. However, I am publicly free only if I am in-and-for-myself in my own other, the state, i.e. only if I have entered into possession of my public property. The exploiting and expropriating capitalist society forces me to give up the supreme duties, which I have as an owner of public property, of res publica; duties, which I willingly share with all other members of the humanist society. Having expropriated the political ?I? of the enormous world proletariat from its public property, the world capitalist oligarchy keeps it in a state of utter subjection. Such is the very nature of capitalism ? private benefits dominate over the public interests, while entrepreneurs and financiers take the place of the sovereign Peoples at the cost of the humanitarian ends and welfare of all human beings on Earth.

Despite the fact that the modern political proletariat has never had it so good ? its material welfare is significantly better than ever before, ? its political ?I? is not freer than before. I (everyone is I) want to be in possession of my public property. To dispose with it and to use it for the welfare of humanity. I want to be able to say: ?I am a genuine owner of public property.? I have never been, I have always wanted.

The common rational will of the People-sovereign will undoubtedly use public property better than the predatory greedy collective ?I? of the exploiting class.

The universal common ownership of public property is a sine qua non for freedom and public happiness; there is a living bond between public freedom and public happiness, which the individual can enjoy only when and only insofar as he takes part in political power as a participant in the decision making process and finds pleasure in ruling the common affairs and deeds. Only free people can enjoy public happiness.

Each and everyone has a right to public happiness. The humanists endorse the sacred and inviolable right of the society ? and, therefore, of each human person, ? to public freedom and public happiness; they are amongst the absolute ends which move the political Man and make Man?s heart beat for humanity. The newest revolution is unavoidable for humanistically thinking and willing people desire and will always desire both public freedom and public happiness.

No to the theft of political power of the People suppressed and lied by the dominating world oligarchy ? the source of public unhappiness. No to the political violence of the exploiting class over the People. No to its political terror.

Are you politically unhappy? Is your level of political happiness very low? Is there a world of difference between your ethical world and the world of corrupted politics? Do you think that the political system is totally wrong? Are the majority of the people you meet totally manipulated and brainwashed? If your answer is in the affirmative, you must have examined the reasons for your public unhappiness for you have the intellectual power to understand the big political game and you can clearly see that not only do the members of the dominating class have control over the means of production and the whole economy but they also own the governments in order to defend their right to private property; you must have been disgusted by the hypocritical authoritarian nature of this controlling power for private property is theft indeed. So you know the main reason: You are a political proletarian.

And if you hate it, you are a Man with a strong willed political ?I? ? you want to be a citizen-politician, a statesman. You will to be and you definitely deserve to be a full and proud member of a free humanistic society.

Join us and fight!

Only when you, citizens-politicians, actually enter into possession of your political property, will you be truly free and publicly happy.

Will your liberation! Free yourselves from the shackles of capitalism! And when you proclaim the postulates of your anti-capitalist will, the world will witness the beginning of the newest and truest humanist revolution, which once again will set off along the road of liberation of the human species.

To will to work for the liberation of the human species ? this is beautiful!

Nowadays less and less people take part in elections; this is the way people demonstrate their dissatisfaction with representative democracy and the existing party system. This is the way in which they protest and express their contempt for the unjust social order, which deprives them of true political freedom; an order, which uses its oppressively harsh regime so as not to give them a sphere of free political activity for their own state and which takes away from them the right to political happiness.

This powerful demonstration of political unhappiness is at the same time a demonstration of an enormous potential force, which is still unorganised but proclaims that it does not want to tolerate the farce and the hypocrisy of the preposterous political theatre called ?free elections? and refuses to participate in the political tragicomedy, which the bourgeois oligarchy acts out once every four years. These people belong to the political proletariat ? the political giant, which does not know yet well enough what it wills; they will to know the truth about the actuality which they dream about and which is the quintessence of their world-historical mission, which they instinctively feel but do not know all about yet. The Humanists will teach these people. They have learned from the whole history of mankind; they will teach others. This and nothing else but this is their historical mission.

There is no doubt whatsoever that this protest lays the beginning of the humanist revolution. Today these non-voting people have already begun to realise the enslaving and exploiting character of capitalist society. Tomorrow this revolution will already be in the intellects of all members of the People-sovereign. And in the not too distant future it will be in their wills and then they will vigorously and resolutely want to change the present state of the world. This is wonderful.

The revolutionary power of the will to public happiness and political freedom of today?s political proletariat will lead to creating a new humanist constitution and, therefore, new humanist-democratic institutions. Having the political courage and energy not only to want to constitute but also to actually constitute these new political bodies ensuring the power of the People and its participation in decision making, the humanists will create the ethical political reality, which will satisfy the desire of the huge majority of the People for public freedom as well as public happiness.

The Humanist state and its new order aim at establishing the autonomic sphere of public happiness of its citizens. It refutes the capitalist state order and constitutes itself as a negation of the unethical capitalist political community; in no way can a state order force Man to aspire to private happiness only and aim at nothing else but guaranteeing his economic freedoms and rights.

We have to think and act for the common good. We have to have the will to live in humanist states respecting the right of Man to public property and public freedom.

We say that the present political freedoms of the peoples ? the great achievement of the heroic struggles of the political proletariat during the last few centuries, ? are not enough and since the very beginning have not been enough. Freedom of speech and the press, freedom of assembly and association as they exist in the capitalist state belong to the very minimum of political freedom, which a society can enjoy in order to be politically happy and feel free because the peoples are not and cannot be truly free in the conditions of absolute dictatorship of the capital, of its privileged elite as well as its servants and paid agents. Only the total participation of the sovereign People in political decision making can lead and will lead to a truly free society.

We want to point out the enormous difference between only the economic freedoms of the citizen-participant in the economic life of the country ? these freedoms are pathetic for he is only allowed to take care of his private welfare ? and the political freedoms of the citizen-politician, who takes an active part in the political life of his country and is responsible for its public welfare as well as the public happiness of his fellow-countrymen. It is exactly these great political freedoms, of which the greedy and ruthless exploiters cunningly rob the political community and, therefore, every citizen-politician, who wants to devote his life to social and political activities for the general good of the humanist state.

A truly just and dignified state order cannot aim at guaranteeing the economic freedoms and rights of its citizens and forcing them to enjoy their pathetic egoistical narrow-minded private happiness only; it aims at constituting the unconditionally autonomic sphere of public happiness for its citizens-politicians and the politically sovereign people as a whole. For, undoubtedly, only when citizens with statesmanlike education participate in the life of the political community, they can find pleasure in the public happiness they completely deserve.

We do not want to tolerate the expropriation of our public property by the political class of servants of Big Capital any longer. We have the will to think and act for the common good. We have the will to constitute the principles of public freedom and public happiness. When the humanists do that, it will be a great historical moment because for the first time in world history the People-sovereign, which is still ousted from the paradise of political life, will be victorious in its struggles against its exploiters, dictators, oppressors and demagogues and will win its total liberation. The truly dignified members of this People will show that they have the will to be voluntary members of ?res publica? and want to take care of something more than their own private happiness. They will prove that only possession of public property is the genuine source of their public happiness. Only then and only they will be able to say that they are politically free for they will have made a huge step to the implementation of the eternally living dream of human will for universal political freedom and public happiness.

The newest revolution is unavoidable because no state system can serve the desire for private happiness and guarantee economic freedoms and rights only. The new humanist state order will certainly establish an autonomic sphere for the public happiness of its citizens.

The task of every educational system is to bring up the young generation in the strong rational will of humanism; bringing up people who think and act in conformity with the categories of the common good, res publica, is a sine qua non for humanism. We have to give them aims of great social importance and the opportunity to realise themselves not only individually but also in the society, for the society and through the society as social beings, i.e. to inspire them to search for the absolute ends of humanity and give them the opportunity to enjoy the pleasures of public happiness.

We aim at creating a humanist political community capable of satisfying the desire of its members for public freedom as well as their will for public happiness. The new social order which the humanists want to create will definitely be respected and kept by those who will create it for it will be based on the political contract of truly free people. Only power that is based on truly humanist ends and the desired future public good at which the ethical political community aims is legitimate.

Total political freedom and public happiness are the highest determinations of the humanist state. Whenever people strengthen their humanist will, whenever they aim at achieving not their individual goals only but the substantial goals of their political community and the absolute ends of humanity, their state becomes more and more truly powerful. United we stand. Unity makes power.

Only then the torch of humanist will for just public property will be carried with pride and dignity by every human generation whereas the infinite desire for public freedom and the thirst for public happiness will be the most powerful principles of humanist will implemented by the sovereign people. The sovereignty of the People is a guarantor of the public happiness of every citizen. Only due to the power of the sovereign the citizen can become a participant in decision making and ruling the common affairs and together with all other members of the political community can enjoy the common for all public happiness in the sphere of political rights; a noble obligation of the citizen is to belong to the sovereign and love direct humanist democracy with all his heart.

Only possession of political freedom ? and, therefore, participation of the citizen in political power and decision making, an access to the sphere of public rights and real ethical freedom in the humanist res publica of all, ? is the source of genuine public happiness for the political community as a whole and every participant in the public space in particular.
