Realcommunism: On the necessity of creating an United Front for XXI Century Realcommunism: Today we definitely need a new humanistic communist movement, which refutes what is dead in the previous humanist movements and, at the same time, preserves and contains in itself everything great in them, develops them in order to respond to the higher needs, desires and spirit of our time. We certainly need an United Front for XXI Century Realcommunism because there is an unimaginable number of disparate narrow-minded socialist groups with very few followers and sympathisers; groups, which are incapable of playing a fruitful and meaningful role in the societies of 21st century. For instance, in Poland alone, there is a number of leftist groups or parties some of which are leftist by name only [(such as the big Alliance of the Democratic Left (Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej) – the former Polish "Communist" Party, which ruled the country until 1989 – but, as a matter of fact, like all its cousins in West Europe, like all former Western European socialist or even communist parties, today it overtly proclaims the dogmas of neo-liberal ideology; its members are ideological turncoats]. Of course, there are some authentically leftist parties all over Europe but they are so sectarian and view the working class from such a very 19th century narrow-minded point of view that they stand no chance to become powerful leaders of the Polish public opinion. The main reason why the once proud and courageous socialist and communist movements in Europe are all in decline after 1989 is the sectarianism of the pitiful remains of their once great predecessors. Today we say: Realcommunists, unite! Create an United Front for XXI Century Realcommunism. |
